Alex founded Ambition Capital in 2018.

 

With over a decade of experience across Growth Capital, his background in investment banking spanned Mergers and Acquisitions, Leveraged Finance and Debt / Equity Capital Raising. Beginning during his Master's degree in Engineering at Imperial College London in 2003, Alex interned at Goldman Sachs in the year before graduating, having worked in the engineering, wealth management and commodity trading sectors throughout his four-year degree.

 

Joining JPMorgan's graduate programme in their Investment Banking division he worked across a number of large and medium sized Corporate Finance and Leveraged Finance transactions. Moving to Merrill Lynch for several years in a similar role, he subsequently left to join a startup investment manager focussed UK and European SME’s, before founding Ambition Capital.

 

In his spare time he enjoys travelling off the beaten path and testing his food palate.​
