Early Stage Venture Capital
Our Investment Criteria:
You are solving a clear, easy to evaluate problem - you can articulate why you have the right solution, at the right time
Large, addressable market opportunity - you can demonstrate how what you do has a quantifiable market
Experienced, credible team - the right balance of technical, operational and commercial skills is key
Serial founders are a plus, especially at earlier stages
Domain expertise - your ability to demonstrate experience and deep understanding of your sector is crucial
Skills gaps can be filled by advisors. If you have an advisory board, angel investors and / or NED's supporting you, we are keen to understand why they love what you're doing
Sector agnostic - we are able to look at most sectors equally.
Whilst we are not sector specialists, we understand the fundamental issues faced by high growth early stage companies and we draw on our extensive network across our backers and other investors, consultants, other management and companies, consultants and professional services to evaluate and structure our investments.
Where possible, we actively look to invest alongside or even bring in sector experts

Competitive edge - we will focus on why you feel you have an unfair advantage in your space, and often look for external validation of this through our network.
If you claim to not have any competition, we would need to understand this in detail, as genuine market opportunities are rarely uncompeted for.

Your ask - the capital you are seeking to raise should be suitable, with a relevant understanding of requirements in future rounds and coherent uses of proceeds to get you there

Ticket size - we decide how much to invest according to the stage you are at (Pre-seed, Seed and Series A) and levels of co-investment.
When appropriate, we are happy to bring in co-investment to your deal.

Timeline - we look to move fast whilst carrying out a responsible investment process.
